Meet the Team

  • Angie Yamaguchi, SHRM-CP

    Angie’s HR career began in the startup world trenches, so she has firsthand experience with developing HR functions alongside company growth. From basic payroll, sourcing and implementing benefits packages, to performance review processes and team engagement, she's handled it all.

    Angie’s primary HR passion is developing great teams and employees, and cultivating company culture. Her most recent career highlights designing and implementing engagement programs for fully remote teams. Working for a company that has employees across the globe, she understands how important it is to keep people connected and engaged within the org.

    When she’s not developing performance review workflows, Angie spends time with her two sons and their puggle dog, Slayer. She also enjoys trail running, soaking up the SoCal sun, and hosting get togethers for family and friends.

  • Jamie Urquhart, SHRM-SCP

    Throughout Jamie’s professional career, she wore many hats, including Office Manager and Operations Manager. Through it all, the common denominator was always people. She decided to narrow her career focus, officially head down the HR career path, and received her SHRM-SCP certification.

    Her most recent career highlights include assisting a company to unravel from a PEO and successfully transition into a new HRIS platform, complete with customized employee platforms and setup. What Jamie enjoys the most about HR is helping employees with what they need to be successful in their job - whether it be simplifying a policy or providing customized training.

    When she’s not fine-tuning an employee onboarding process, Jamie spends time with her husband, two kids, and two rescue dogs. She also enjoys cooking, fine wine, traveling, and listening/reading to a good book.

  • Isabela Escol, HR Assistant & Recruiter

    Isabela is a versatile professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Beginning her career as a dedicated restaurant manager, Isabela honed her leadership and operational skills over three years, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient team management.

    Driven by a passion for organizational development and employee well-being, Isabela transitioned to the corporate realm, serving as a Human Resource Manager. In this role, she played a pivotal role in fostering a positive work culture, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement.

    Recognizing her knack for talent acquisition and policy formulation, Isabela embarked on a new path in the freelancing and virtual assistant industry. Specializing as a Recruitment Specialist and Administrative Assistant, she seamlessly leverages her expertise to source top-tier candidates, streamline administrative processes, and craft effective policies that align with organizational objectives.

    When she is not fine tuning a custom HR policy, Isabela enjoy spending time with her family, indulging in movie marathons, and savoring her favorite brews of coffee.
